The Rashtriya Hindu Sangathan regards every member’s personal information as Pavitra Dhrohar (Sacred Trust). By using this App, members agree to lawful collection, responsible use, and disciplined protection of their information.

2. Information We Collect

• Identity Information: Name, email, mobile number, Sangathan role/post.
• Payment Information: UPI ID, transaction reference, subscription history (tokenized; never stored in raw form).
• Usage Data: Device type, IP address, and location (only for service availability and security).
• Community Contributions: Posts, comments, and uploads made within the App.

3. Purpose of Collection & Use

• Membership: Activate and manage memberships & subscriptions.
• Communication: Send organizational notifications, messages, and calls for seva.
• Security: Ensure security, fraud prevention, and discipline enforcement.

4. Data Security & Protection

• Encryption: All sensitive information is encrypted and stored on secure, India-based servers.
• Audits: Multi-layer authentication and periodic security audits are conducted.
• Access: Personal data is accessible only to authorized Sangathan officers and custodians.
• Non-Sharing: No member’s information will be sold, traded, or shared without mandate or lawful requirement.

5. Use of Third-Party Services

• Payment Gateways: For processing transaction-related data.
• SMS/Email/WhatsApp: For OTPs, alerts, and official communication.
• Analytics: If used, only for improving performance; never for profiling or marketing.

RHS ensures only compliant and secure service providers are engaged. No member data is shared with third parties for advertising or commercial marketing.

6. Data Retention

• Records: Membership and transaction records retained only as required (up to 7 years for financial records).
• Inactive Data: Anonymized or deleted unless required by law.
• Contributions: Posts and comments may remain as part of RHS’s digital archive.

7. Member Rights

• Access: Request a copy of stored personal data.
• Correction: Update inaccurate or outdated information.
• Erasure: Request deletion, subject to lawful obligations.
• Restriction: Limit specific uses (e.g., promotional messages).
• Objection: Decline optional communications but remain bound to core notices.

Requests may be submitted via support@rhscommunity.in or through the in-app support section. RHS will respond within 30 days in accordance with applicable law.

8. Cookies & Tracking (For Website Users)

Cookies may be used on www.rhscommunity.in to improve navigation and member experience.

Only essential cookies (login, security, language preferences) are used. RHS does not use cookies for advertising or profiling.

Users may disable cookies via browser settings, but some features may not function fully.

9. Grievance & Complaints

Complaints will be acknowledged within 48 hours and resolved within 7 working days.

10. Amendments

The Sangathan reserves the right to update or amend this Privacy Policy to align with evolving laws, app store requirements, and organizational needs. Updates will be communicated via the App/Website. Continued use signifies acceptance of such amendments.

11. Final Provision

This Privacy Policy is not merely a legal formality but a solemn Sangathanic vow of confidentiality, discipline, and trust. Every member’s data shall be safeguarded with the same sanctity as the Sangathan’s dhwaj (flag) and constitution.
